I am looking for a manager for a small children's service based near to Chippenham. The role comes with a great salary and benefits along with the opportunity to work for an organisation who strive to enhance the lives of young people. The service provides invaluable support for a young person who is being prepared for independent living when they leave the care service. This will include assisting with improving their independence skills, applying for jobs, finance, cooking and managing their home. The service has recently being inspected and was outstanding/ good in all areas, so this is a well run service. The role has become available as the current manager has been promoted to a senior role within the organisation. The main duties of the role includes: Rota Management Staff supervisions and development Effective oversight of care plans and striving for the best outcomes for any young person living in the homes. Manage the home's budget and home's spending habits Administrative duties and report writing Effective management of safeguarding in line with regulatory framework expectations. To be considered for this great opportunity you will hold Level 3 in Children and Young People qualification and be willing to work towards or have completed Level 5 in Leadership and Management. You will have experience and understanding of the leaving care service and you will have team leadership experience
