Our Nuclear Business Management Degree Apprenticeship will give you the skills and knowledge to manage the projects, plans, components, contracts, and supplier relationships that are vital to the successful delivery of this work. The programme You’ll spend four years with our expert teams working on real projects that support submarines in the Royal Navy. In the process, you’ll get to experience the full breadth of our Submarines business, taking on a variety of placements across different areas, which could include finance, commercial, project management, procurement and planning. Alongside developing practical knowledge you’ll also study for a BA in Business Management with the University of Derby at our Nuclear Skills Academy. Together, these experiences will equip you for a business career that offers a huge range of possibilities. What will I do? We’re leading a revolution in nuclear power that is already seeing us develop this technology for many other uses – from unmanned underwater vehicles, to microreactors and synthetic fuel. Working with colleagues, suppliers and customers to ensure we deliver to the highest standards and, in doing so, helping to keep the UK safe. What you'll need Five GCSEs at grade 4/C which must include Maths and English Language. 96 UCAS points (obtained or predicted) from either: Three A-levels at grade CCC including a numerical or business-related subject and excluding General studies. A Level 3 Extended BTEC Diploma at DDM in a numerical or business-related subject. If you have any other equivalent qualifications, please contact us. Beyond that, you’ll need to be a logical and analytical thinker who can solve problems with a common-sense approach and work well in a team. To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
