Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, and implement effective safeguarding interventions for children and families. Work collaboratively with professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people in your care. Use a relational, solution-focused approach to keep families together wherever safe and possible. Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, ensuring the voice of the child is heard in decision-making processes. Deliver social work services in line with statutory obligations and legal frameworks to protect vulnerable children. Essential Criteria - Are You the Right Fit? Qualified Social Worker : You must be a registered social worker with SWE (Social Work England) and have successfully completed your ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment). Proven Experience : Minimum 1 years of experience in safeguarding and child protection. Strong Communication Skills : Ability to build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families while providing strength-based support. Decision Making & Analysis : Confident in making informed decisions and conducting thorough assessments to support effective care planning.
