The Home First Single Point of Access Team is seeking a Lead Officer to join our dynamic team. We work with individuals aged eighteen and above, offering varied and adaptable services to meet diverse needs.
We are looking for a candidate with a social work degree who is registered with Social Work England. You should be a strong team player with a proactive approach to working within a busy Social Work Team. Experience in leading and supervising teams, a good understanding of the broader Adults and Health system, and qualifications such as the Practice Educator Award and Best Interest Assessor are preferred, or a willingness to work towards them.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, able to work independently, and follow direction to prioritise effectively. You will provide strong operational leadership, management, and direction to frontline staff, ensuring that all interventions and services are person-centred, high-quality, and efficiently utilise human, financial, and other resources. Independent travel throughout North Lincolnshire is required, as our services cover the entire area. Knowledge of adult social care legislation and frameworks is essential.
You must demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly, solve problems, and possess good negotiation, communication, organizational, and IT skills. Flexibility, resilience, and dedication to teamwork are crucial.
