SEN TA
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Aspire People is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work with primary -aged students in the Peterborough & surrounding areas. We have opportunities for daily cover, long-term roles, and even temp-to-perm placements.
The Role:
Position: SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant
Location: Peterborough and surrounding areas
Availability: Daily cover, long-term assignments, with temp-to-perm opportunities
Student Age: Primary school Reception - 11 years old
Responsibilities: Supporting students with SEN on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment, adapting to the individual needs of each student.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience working with SEN students is essential.
Skills: Patience, empathy, and a strong understanding of various SEN needs. Excellent communication skills are also important for collaborating with teachers, parents, and other staff.
Flexibility: Ability to work in different schools across Peterborough and adapt to different learning environments.
DBS: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
