A customer facing role, requiring interaction with customers buying tickets or merchandise, and assisting
with customer enquiries across various communication channels, while ensuring high levels of customer
service are delivered every time, presenting a positive representation of Harrogate Town.
The role requires a degree of flexibility to across our retail store and successfully prepare and fulfil the
requirements of a matchday.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring the successful sale of merchandise & tickets both in person and via email/telephone at our
Official Club Store.
• To always provide excellent customer service - in person, email, telephone, dealing with all incoming
enquiries in a pleasant, timely and helpful manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring the best customer care is always
adhered to.
• Assist with production of tickets for matches, initiatives and events.
• Propose and implement ticketing promotions and ideas for growing our supporter base.
• Assist in the management of the Ticket Office/Online sales on match days, and in the Official Club store.
• Carry out general administrative duties, ticket related tasks and after sales service
• Assist in strategic and operational sales planning/strategy alongside our Ticket Manager.
• Maximising all sales opportunities and upsell Merchandise, PDC, Hospitality, Flagbearers and Mascot
packages alongside all other ticket and club related promotions and opportunities.
• Advising and serving customers on the shop floor including both ticket and merchandise sales.
• Learning about the product range, help with stock takes and audits. Helping with promotions/events.
• Replenishing stock on the shop floor, shirt printing, packing and dispatching online orders.
• General housekeeping, and upkeep of the shop floor, storeroom and outside the shop.
• Contribute to a positive, efficient team and environment
About you
• Have a friendly, positive outlook, with a can-do attitude.
• Be computer literate with administration skills.
• Flexibility with working hours including school holidays and Saturdays.
• Competent delivering consistently high customer service.
• Be a team player who is versatile and flexible.
• An ambassador for Harrogate Town AFC, #proudtobetown.
• Has experience of working in a ticket and or retail environment.
• A knowledge or passion for football is desirable but not essential.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• A proactive nature and a keenness to learn.
