Sodexo Live! have a fantastic opportunity for a Fanzone Event Programmer to join and work alongside our first-class team at American Express Stadium, home to Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club!
Sodexo Live! support with the hospitality at Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club both on Match Days and for Events; this is an exciting time to join us as plans for the opening of the brand-new Fan Zone progress!
In this exciting diverse role, your focus will be to oversee the day-to-day operation of the Fan Zone; you’ll collaborate closely with various departments to deliver an outstanding experience to fans and guests, ensuring that service meets Sodexo Live’s high standards.
What you'll do:
1. Create business plan to include competitor analysis, target markets, market trends, sales and marketing actions
2. Maintain close relationship with venue partner programming team, meeting regularly to share successes, targets, actions and set the programme and events schedule
3. Research content providers, artists, promoters and attend appointments to engage
4. Negotiate with contributors and artists to deliver content within budget, and notify management of agreements
5. Liaise with the event managers to identify venue requirements with regards to the programme
6. Audience development and communications
7. Working with marketing to increase the profile of Fulham Pier and increase the size and breadth of audience
8. Consult regularly with the Marketing Manager to contribute to stories about events and ensure websites and socials are up to date
9. Achievement of budgeted targets
10. Recruitment and onboarding of new Fanzone Venue Sales team if required
11. Achievement of personal KPI’s as agreed by line manager
12. Produce accurate and timely reports as required
13. Be visible within the local industry, launching the Fanzone as a new space, attending regular networking and engagement events
What you bring:
1. Experience within a creative programming environment
2. Experience of dealing directly with artists, content providers and collaborators
3. Knowledge of budgeting and financial process
4. Good knowledge of the cultural and entertainment sector
5. Understanding of marketing and audience development
6. Highly creative thinker
7. Great collaborator, especially in environments with several stakeholders
8. Tuned in to the creative sector including digital, visual and performance arts
9. Excellent business relationship skills
10. Detailed knowledge of the London events market
