Crowders Nurseries, part of the RSK Group are looking to recruit an experienced Horticultural Sales Account Manager to work on a full-time, permanent basis. This can be hybrid (Horncastle) or remote for the right person.
Crowders are a nationally renowned wholesale grower – from high end private domestic schemes to large national infrastructure programmes, who supply the full range of high quality plant material to create outstanding landscapes.
Responsibilities:
* Look after customer end to end – From initial customer contact, handling initial quotations through to completion & delivery of orders.
* Emphasis on building the customer relationship & expectations of the business.
* Liaise with the Business Development Manager for non-active & any new lead customers.
* Ensure customer application forms are returned fully completed & liaise with the Finance team to obtain credit limits required.
* Ensure credit limits are not exceeded without permission for potential high value orders.
* Ensuring profit margins are met, maximising where they can.
* Ensure customer minimum order values are achieved to enable free delivery, otherwise ensuring that the correct delivery rates are applied.
* Using an in-house quotation tool alongside in-house software & market knowledge to achieve the most competitive deals
Skills / Experience:
* Ability to handle and prioritise workload in busy environment.
* Previous sales experience required, with a proven track record and commercially aware.
* Business Acumen & professionalism
* Commercially aware.
* Team player.
* RHS Level 2 desired.
Salary / Benefits:
* Salary: up to £40,000 pa depending on experience
