YOUR ROLE
Our multi-user operation in Redditch, who provide warehousing and distribution services for several healthcare clients, have an exciting opportunity for a client centric and forward-thinking Operations Manager to join their team. Providing direction across the site driving operational efficiency to meet and exceed customers’ expectations.
This is a Monday – Friday role working 40 hours per week.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As the Operations Manager you will report into the General Manager and provide direction and leadership ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will lead a diverse team of Stock controllers providing management control through effective planning, organisation, and communication to ensure all KPI targets are achieved, and client expectations are met. You will implement strategies to form a team that creates, sustains, and embeds a culture of employee engagement and high performance.
You will manage day-to-day operational inventory & systems, health and safety, quality and service delivery targets ensuring all are achieved in line with customer requirements, reporting on successes, and investigating and embedded remedial actions where required. You will contribute contracted budgets, ensuring activities are managed within quality and budget targets.
Ensuring the correct level of stock accuracy is maintained within the warehouse you will create and maintain close working relations with the customer and attend weekly operational meetings, managing resource in line with order demand.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you will be a strong operations manager, experienced in leading and developing a team of managers within a large multi-user operation or ecommerce environment. You will possess excellent leadership skills, with demonstrable experience of driving innovation, change, and continuous improvement initiatives. With a strong customer focus you will be capable of building credible internal and external relationships, confident in challenging the status quo and skilled at managing complex matters, practiced at implementing corrective actions.
