About the role:
Are you passionate about retail, inspiring teams, and making a difference in your community? St David’s Hospice is looking for a Shop Manager to lead one of our charity shops, helping to generate vital funds for our Hospice services. As a Shop Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating an inviting and efficient retail environment. You’ll work closely with volunteers, customers, and the Retail Support team to ensure smooth daily operations while spreading awareness of St David’s Hospice’s mission.
We are looking for someone who will:
Manage merchandising, window displays, and stock control to maximize sales opportunities
Train, support, and inspire a team of volunteers to deliver excellent customer service
Uphold health and safety standards and maintain accurate administrative records
Be an ambassador for the Hospice, sharing knowledge about our work and mission
To do the role you'll need:
Retail experience and strong customer service skills
Ability to manage, motivate, and lead a team.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A clean driving licence and your own car, as you could be asked to cover any of our shops
Empathy for the Hospice, and alignment with the charity’s values
