Project Manager - Professional Services - German speaking

Are you an experienced German-speaking Project Manager with a background in consulting or professional services? Do you have exposure to cybersecurity and data-focused projects, and a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams in complex, high-stakes environments?
We are working with a leading organisation renowned for delivering high-impact projects across Europe, who are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and multilingual Project Manager to join their team on an initial 12-month contract with long term opportunities to extend. This role is fully remote, but you must be fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, and confident managing stakeholders across international markets.
About the Role:
This is a strategic delivery role where you'll be working on major transformation and regulatory projects for high-profile clients, particularly across Germany and DACH regions. You'll lead end-to-end project lifecycles, from initiation and planning through to execution, governance, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver large-scale professional services projects across cyber, data, or digital transformation landscapes
* Act as the primary liaison between German-speaking clients and internal delivery teams
* Manage project scope, timelines, risks, budgets, and change controls to ensure successful delivery
* Lead status reporting, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level presentations
* Work with technical teams to ensure alignment of deliverables to client expectations
* Track KPIs and project health to pre-emptively address issues before they escalate
* Ensure compliance with data security, GDPR, and relevant regulatory frameworks
What You'll Need:
* Fluent German and English - verbal and written communication must be excellent
* Strong consultancy or vendor background - ideally with top-tier or boutique consulting firms
* Previous experience managing cybersecurity, data governance, or IT transformation projects
* Proven ability to manage distributed teams, external partners, and senior client stakeholders
* PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification (desirable)
* Understanding of data protection regulations and technology frameworks
* Exceptional organisational, communication, and influencing skills
