What Opportunity Awaits?
As we continue to grow, Libro is on a mission to find a passionately accountable full-time Regulatory Reporting Analyst supporting our London Administration office.
The primary function of this role is to create regulatory financial reporting, comply with regulatory requirements, inform business decisions, and perform analytical initiatives. The Regulatory Reporting Analyst (RRA) will run and create reporting, perform data quality analysis on reports/models, and organize key data points in a manner that ensures accurate regulatory reporting and supports management in making strategic decisions. This role requires in-depth understanding of financial reports, the Credit Union’s underlying systems and data, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data reporting provided. The Regulatory Reporting Analyst must also have a strong understanding of database analysis tools. Finally, the RRA should have a strong understanding and knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern credit unions in order to ensure compliance with reporting obligations.
The successful candidate will:
* Create and maintain reporting to comply with all new and emerging regulatory requirements and third-party stakeholders (including FSRA, CMHC, SAGEN)
* Communicate with third party partners and regulators on reporting requirements to ensure Libro’s data is accurately reported
* Provide advice to management on continuous improvement to operationalize changing regulatory reporting to ensure efficient and accurate record keeping and reporting
* Contribute to enhancing the validity, reliability and accuracy of data and information utilized in support of business initiatives
* Identify data issues affecting financial and regulatory reporting and work with stakeholders to implement solutions
* Provide QA support to the Defensive Data team
* Provide insight on data availability and prepare recommendations on how the data can be obtained and utilized to resolve management questions
* Analyze regulatory data and reporting to provide insights on maintaining capital efficiency
* Make connections to other departments and operations within the credit union in order to form a deep understanding of the data present and how it relates to regulatory reporting

* Do you have a post-secondary degree in business, finance, or economics?
* Do you have a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated work experience within financial services, including knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements?
* Do you have advanced skills in MS Excel with experience using Pivot tables, graphs, formulas, Power Query, Power BI, and databases?
* Do you have an understanding of OLAP database technology and data modeling?
