Looking to join a close-knit team that truly values its customers, and is committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience and high-quality products? Then we’d love to hear from you!
We’re an independent German Vehicle Service Centre that takes great pride in what we do. From the moment a customer walks through our doors, we go above and beyond to surpass their expectations—not just once, but every time. That’s why we focus on customer retention and long-term relationships rather than just quick fixes.
This role is at the heart of our success, ensuring that every job is completed efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standard.
Our ten ramp workshop is well-equipped with everything you need to keep things running smoothly, and we’ve built a fantastic company culture where teamwork, respect, and a great sense of camaraderie are all part of the day.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Keeping the workshop organised, efficient, and running like a well-oiled machine.
2. Allocating jobs to the team and ensuring they’re completed to a high standard.
3. Supporting both the front of house, control room and the workshop team whilst keeping customers in the loop with honest, clear communication.
4. Maintaining productivity and performance in a team of seven talented technicians.
5. Leading by example— demonstrating pride in your work and keeping morale high.
6. Ensuring servicing, diagnostics and repairs meet the highest standards, keeping customers coming back time and time again.
What We’re Looking For:
1. 3+ years’ experience in workshop control or as a service manager, ideally within a similarly successful independent service centre.
2. A real people person—whether it’s customers or the team, you know how to get the best out of people.
3. Someone who takes pride in their work and has a keen eye for detail.
4. A problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong understanding of diagnostics, repair methods, tools, and equipment.
6. Leadership skills — you can motivate, support, and get the best out of your team.
7. A solid grasp of technical lingo and the ability to translate that into clear front-of-house communication.
8. Results-driven attitude — you understand how to drive efficiency, maximise profitability, and minimise loss.
9. Exceptional organisation and time management—you thrive in a busy environment and can juggle multiple tasks with ease.
Why Join Us?
1. Work for a business where you’re valued, not just a number.
2. We actively encourage a great work/life balance. We value your time.
3. Join a positive, friendly team that supports each other.
4. A well-equipped facility and workshop to make your job easier.
5. Competitive £35,000 basic salary + uncapped bonus (realistic and proven OTE of £41,500 per annum).
6. Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:30 pm—we value work-life balance, so no Saturdays!
7. 33 days holiday per year (including 8 national Bank Holidays).
8. Pension scheme and growth opportunities in a forward-thinking, expanding business.
If this sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you! Please send your CV along with a covering letter telling us why you’re a great fit for the role. Drop us a message—we can’t wait to chat!
