The Role:
As a Junior Project Coordinator, you will support project activities from inception to completion, helping to drive projects forward, track progress, and ensure they are delivered on time and within scope. You will work alongside cross-functional teams, managing communications, resources, and documentation, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
* Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, resource allocations, and budgets.
* Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any challenges.
* Identify potential risks and work proactively to resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.
* Keep project documentation up-to-date and maintain organised records.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
* Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proactive problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 or equivalent.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment.
