This position is to provide strategic and operational HR support to branches across Europe to align with RHQ's guidance for HR Management. The successful candidate will proactively support and guide local HRs to ensure compliance with local employment law, company policies, and procedures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Branch Governance:
o Oversee and manage HR matters across all European branches, especially Poland and Hungary.
o Provide guidance and support to branch HRs to align with RHQ's guidance for HR Management.
o Ensure compliance with local employment law, company policies, and procedures.
o Collaborate with local HRs and Managers to ensure effective communication and coordination of various HR activities.
o Stay current with changes to UK employment law and understand their implications for the business.
o Proactively support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK employment legislation.
o Provide guidance and support to Managers and Employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
2. Learning & Development:
o Identify development needs and deliver training programmes to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
o Monitor the training progress of each business unit, including all branches.
o Where possible, source training providers, ensuring the most appropriate course is selected and negotiated at the best price.
o Regularly update Training and Development policy.
EDUCATION:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business or Management field preferred.
2. Professional qualification from an accredited Chartered Institute such as the CIPD preferred.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
1. Strong knowledge of HR policies and legislations.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, and with individuals where English is not their first language.
3. Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
4. Experience working in a busy HR environment.
5. Strong levels of resilience and assertive skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
EXPERIENCE:
1. 3-5 years' experience in the HR Management field.
2. Workday user preferred or other HRIS system experience can be an advantage.
3. Experience in IT/blue-chip companies can be beneficial.
