Role: Assistant Head of Year
Location: Liskeard School & Community College
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Grade F - £25,183 - £27,269 per annum pro rata, pay award pending
Actual Salary: approximately £21,000 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only (38 working weeks per year)
To start: As soon as possible
We are looking for a passionate, skilled and caring individual to support the pastoral care and personal development of students within our school as we work towards academic excellence with inclusivity for all. Each year group is led by a Head of Year (a member of the teaching staff) who are supported by non-teaching Assistant Heads of Year.
The successful candidate will develop positive professional relationships with groups of students offering pastoral care and support as we aspire to excellence in learning, behaviour, safeguarding and wellbeing. The pastoral team are supported by clear, predictable school systems and routines and the successful candidate would be offered a firm foundation to develop their knowledge, skills and expertise.
