Vegetable Crop Manager Location: Fife, Scotland Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum (flexible depending on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Accommodation: Static caravans or cottages provided based on individual/family needs About the Role We are seeking a capable and experienced Harvest Supervisor to join a well-established and progressive vegetable farm based near Crail in Fife. The business cultivates 100 acres of broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, with seasonal teams of up to 25 workers harvesting and maintaining the crops daily. You’ll play a key role in managing and motivating the harvest team, ensuring productivity, crop quality, and health & safety are upheld at every stage of the process. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the harvest and field operations from planting through to collection Monitor crop health, forecast harvest timings, and make field-based assessments Coordinate daily activities and logistics for seasonal workers (transport, task planning, etc.) Maintain high standards of food safety, environmental care, and staff wellbeing Operate tractors when required (10–20% of the time, no spraying involved) About You: Experience supervising harvest or field operations (essential) Confident assessing crops in the field and forecasting harvest schedules Strong communication and leadership skills Valid UK driving licence Tractor driving experience preferred Why Join?
