Peripatetic SEN Teaching Assistant - Level 2
Trust Appointment (Northwest Hub)
35 hours per week, Term Time Only (198 days)

The successful candidate will:
* Have a passion and commitment to working with children with Special Educational Needs
* Understand the barriers to learning that children with special educational needs may face and be able to use effective strategies to support them
* Have experience of developing learning resources that scaffold and support learning
* Have awareness of child development and knowledge of how children learn
* Have experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age to those in the school
* Possess communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers
* Hold NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
* Have literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to Level 1 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework
* Complete the Department for Education Teaching Assistant Induction Programme (or complete within the first term)
