Fixed Term for 2 years.
The Environmental Health service carries out inspections and interventions in relation to Housing, Statutory Nuisance, Public Health, Environmental Crime, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Pollution Control, Environmental Protection, and Dog Control.
You will help tackle poor housing by delivering proactive and effective enforcement measures set out in the Council’s Housing Enforcement Policy.
The temporary post will assist Social Landlords to ensure that compliance checks for gas and electric safety (and other areas of compliance) are completed.
Requirements:
* Experience and/or qualifications within an environmental health or housing enforcement role.
* Up to date knowledge of environmental health and housing legislation.
