The installation team at Tate Modern provides expertise to individual exhibitions, collection displays, and projects by leading in the handling and installation of artworks on site. They support the co-ordination, management, and scheduling of all practical aspects of gallery preparation and realization of projects for the Tate Modern programme.
As a Technical Manager, you will work with the Senior Art Installation Manager in the delivery, coordination, and production of the Tate Modern programme of exhibitions, collection displays, and wider curatorial programme.
You will solve technical challenges, ensure procedures are maintained, and support the Senior Art Handling Technicians in all installation activity.
You will have a high level of expertise in the handling, installation, and care of a variety of complex artworks.
This role also requires you to have the ability to work confidently and accurately under pressure, as well as the ability and willingness to work outside of core hours to realize projects.
