Job Title: Supply Teacher Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, expected to work full-time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £120 - £140 per day Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher Adhere to the school's policies and procedures Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment Assess student progress and provide feedback to regular teachers Collaborate with other staff members to support student learning and development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Enhanced DBS check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to different teaching environments Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting is desirable Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of the national curriculum Effective classroom management skills Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of settings Working Conditions: This role may require flexibility in working hours and locations, depending on the needs of the school.
