Control Systems Software Engineer – Staffordshire/Hybrid – Competitive Salary
VIQU are working with a leading company that is undergoing massive growth and so are recruiting for a Control Systems Software Engineer on a permanent basis to support within the renewable power generation and storage industry. Our client is recruiting for all levels of seniority for this role, with a competitive salary reflecting experience level.
The role:
The Control Systems Software Engineer will develop and implement PLC and SCADA systems, working system upgrades, system modifications, and new builds. For this role, you will need to have proven control automation experience.
Key skills and experience for the Control Systems Software Engineer:
Extensive eperience in at least one of the following: Siemens PCS7 Automation Stations, SCADA configuration with Siemens PCS7 OS, Schneider M580/M340 utilising EcoStruxure Control Expert, Rockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix utilising Studio 5000.
Writing code to IEC 61131
Function Design, System Design, and Test Specifications
Ladder Logic, Functional Block Diagram, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text
Experience with internal and factory acceptance testing
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the UK
