Are you a recent graduate looking to work within a school setting as a Graduate Learning mentor? Are you considering a career in education or teaching but unsure how to start this?
Milk Education are looking for graduates in the following degree areas to provide tailored pastoral learning support to students in September 2024.
1. Psychology
2. Social Sciences
3. Art &Design
4. Languages
You will be working with students that have moderate learning difficulties in the areas of Autism, ADHD, Social Emotional Mental Health and Dyslexia to name a few. This is a highly rewarding job role where you will be working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis ensuring they are achieving both academically and pastorally.
Within this role you will also be working alongside full class teachers, learning from them and supporting them in the classroom providing that essential additional support. We are looking for Graduates to inspire the future generation and improve their whole school learning journey. There will also be opportunities to work within alternative provision settings where you can utilise your degree knowledge and skill set.
Key criteria:
5. Must have a university degree 2:2 or above
6. Previous experience of working with young people would be beneficial but not essential
7. Clear desire to work with young people
8. Must be able to provide a minimum of two references within the past two years
9. Willingness to undertake CPD training as asked by Milk and your placement school
