Are you an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a SEND Administrative Support Officer to provide essential administrative assistance to our SEND teams across five schools within the Keighley Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that our children with SEND receive the best possible support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to SENDCo’s, including note-taking and organising files.
• Maintain accurate student records and update SEND Review documents.
• Assist with the SEND identification, assessment, monitoring, and review process.
• Manage student referrals and coordinate meetings with external agencies.
• Organise and book rooms, appointments, and screening assessments.
• Communicate regularly with parents/carers and coordinate Parent Forum meetings.
• Prepare documentation for EHCP applications and annual reviews.
• Ensure SEND data is accurately recorded and shared with teachers.
• Support SENDCo’s in communicating effective strategies to teaching staff.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational setting.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
• A commitment to supporting SEND pupils and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across multiple schools.
