We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within our front of house. This position requires a strong focus on customer service, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle cash transactions effectively. As a Service Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting them with their needs and providing exceptional service.
Duties
1. Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding services and products.
2. Process customer orders and manage service requests efficiently.
3. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed correctly.
4. Maintain an organised filing system for customer records and service documentation.
5. Provide mechanical knowledge to assist customers with product-related questions or issues.
6. Upsell additional services or products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
7. Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and high-quality service delivery.
8. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for resolution.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a similar industry.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous to assist customers effectively.
3. Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions.
4. Ability to upsell products or services confidently while maintaining customer satisfaction.
5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly disposition.
6. Proficient in using computer systems for order processing and record management.
7. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
