Pay: £12.61 per hour, we pay £50 per sleep-in shift and offer great benefits.
Typical shift as a bank Positive Behaviour Support Worker
* Helping our customers overcome barriers and lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.
* Recognising their strengths and abilities and helping them take small steps at their pace.
* Supporting our customers using the Positive Behavioural Support model to promote independence and social inclusion.
* Monitoring our customers’ mental and physical health to identify signs of deterioration.
* Engaging with a customer who has interests in music, musical instruments, board games, and gardening.
There is lots for you to do and get involved in, from supporting our customer to achieve their hopes and aspirations, working to bespoke care plans. You’ll help coordinate activities and experiences meaningful to them and for them.
You bring
* Experience in a Complex Care setting, with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or are prepared to work towards it.
* Flexibility to work at short notice, as you’ll be the one picking your next shift.
* You’re a real people person, confident to work in different services or locations.
* Experience as a Support Worker, supporting people with complex needs or behaviours of distress.
* A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to the customer’s needs.
* Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
Job details
* We pay £50 per sleep-in shift.
* Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans.
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done, and we pay for that.
