Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this role is to support the Compliance Manager to deliver their duties to provide operational management across the diverse Midlands portfolio. The engineering supervisor is responsible for managing all mobile engineering resources to affected properties within the defined geographical area ensuring compliance with service delivery obligations and supporting the Compliance Manager in management of the P&L, SLA’s and KPI performance measurement.
Office Location: Office based in Cambridge, CB1
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am till 5pm
Opportunity: On-going/Temp to perm opportunity
Pay: Paying £23.50ph via umbrella (can facilitate CIS if set up)
Requirements: Must be fully qualified and possess a driver’s license
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Compliance Manager in managing the service delivery throughout their geographical area in line with contract obligations and service standards.
2. Manage the mobile engineering team and ensure appropriate levels of resources are deployed with succession and development plans in place.
3. Be the first point of contact for the engineering team assisting with queries and offering support.
4. Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with all statutory requirements and corporate policies including, but not limited to, Health and Safety, Quality Assurance, Environment & Sustainability, and Employment Legislation.
5. Carry out site audits to ensure logbooks and work is compliant & recorded accurately.
6. Liaise with the Central Teams regarding outstanding works.
7. Have specific knowledge in both Mechanical and Electrical building services which are considered normal for a building office location.
8. Have acquired elements of other skills which will enable them to work flexibly across trades and also support handyman type activities.
9. Operate as part of an effective Professional Maintenance team. The post holder will be driven, have enthusiasm, be self-motivated, and be expected to work on their own initiative.
10. Be proactive during peak workloads - Backfill and cover AL.
11. Help maintain accurate maintenance records and plant history.
12. Conduct TBTs and team meetings.
