Occupational Therapist Development Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our clinical division in the South West locality. This role offers a unique development opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic therapist to work with neurodivergent children and young people who have experienced trauma.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for occupational therapy and a strong desire to develop their skills in this area. They will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils with developmental trauma, autism, ADHD, complex and SEMH needs.
This is a permanent, term-time only position, working 5 hours per week Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be required to have a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to helping our pupils in their daily lives, ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and healthy.
* Undertake all aspects of Occupational Therapy clinical duties, adhering to professional and regulatory guidelines.
* Carry out individual assessments and interventions, preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports.
* Provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies, as required.

Requirements:
* Sensory Integration Qualification or at least part completion of the Postgraduate training pathway.
* Experience working with children and young people.
* Valid full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
