Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design & Technology Teacher to join our client school’s dynamic team starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire students to engage with design principles, technology applications, and practical skills. You will play a crucial role in developing students’ critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through hands-on projects and collaborative work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Design & Technology across various year groups.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
* Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and enthusiasm for learning.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate technology with other subjects.
* Stay updated with the latest trends in design and technology education to enhance curriculum delivery.
Qualifications:
* A relevant degree in Design & Technology or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Previous experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate students of all abilities.
