Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer London, United Kingdom (On-site)
PPM Engineer- Fire Extinguishers – Pirin Court - Nights
Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, the PPM Engineer will undertake planned maintenance activities on assets mainly in the Trackside environment. You’ll work on a permanent night shift from Sunday to Thursday, in all weather conditions. Autonomous work and safety are paramount. Travel between stations is required, so a full driver’s license is essential.
Key responsibilities include:
* Completing preventative maintenance tasks nightly
* Guiding daily task delivery according to business expectations
* Working independently and as part of a team
* Practicing health and safety standards
* Monitoring work for compliance
* Using ServiceNow to update visit reports
Additional responsibilities:
* Providing accurate site reports
* Completing maintenance as scheduled
* Ensuring maintenance standards and reporting issues
* Timely administration
* Adhering to QEHS and drug & alcohol policies
Qualifications / Skills:
* Knowledge of system maintenance procedures related to the contract
* Experience with relevant systems
* Experience in LUL or Rail environments
Candidate profile:
Seeking an engineer familiar with fire maintenance, ideally with London Underground or Network Rail experience. The role involves night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm – 6 am. Previous multi-site maintenance experience, full UK driving license, and drug & alcohol testing are required.
