Your main responsibilities will include :
* To lead Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for students aged 11–18.
* Provide strategic leadership, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
* Manage staff, oversee curriculum planning, and monitor student outcomes.
* Promote STEM initiatives, innovation in teaching, and student engagement.
* Support professional development and collaborate with senior leadership.
* Foster a learning environment where every pupil feels valued and nurtured.
* Bringing learning to life with hands-on projects and interactive activities.
* Empower students to think creatively, and embrace the endless possibilities of Science.
About You : We're seeking a visionary and dedicated faculty head who has :
* A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven track record of outstanding teaching and leadership experience, ideally within a Science department.
* Experience with curriculum development, particularly at Key Stages 4 and 5, and familiarity with examination specifications.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
* A deep passion for Science education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning among pupils.
