Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Experience: 5–10 years’ PQE with a proven track record in large-scale commercial litigation and/or insolvency matters. Academic Credentials: Strong academic qualifications and evidence of a consistently excellent academic record. Technical Expertise: Knowledge of litigation procedures, substantive law, and experience leading key aspects of significant cases, with the ability to manage smaller cases independently. Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring junior associates and contributing to knowledge management initiatives. Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language. Team Fit: A collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in all stages of dispute resolution, including court and tribunal proceedings, and advise on enforcement and interpretation of legal rights and obligations. Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring efficiency and high-quality outcomes. Draft key legal documents, including skeleton arguments and submissions. Mentor junior team members and contribute to team training and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Engage in business development activities, including client relationship management and marketing programmes. Oversee client billing and ensure compliance with internal policies.
