FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT US
We are a well-known healthcare group with reliable, dedicated, and professional staff within our services! We care for adults aged 19 - 60 who have learning difficulties and mental health issues.
Rehability UK specializes in supporting adults with complex needs (including, but not limited to, Autistic Spectrum Condition, Learning Disability, and Mental Health) to live their best possible life. We strive to provide friendly, professional, and inspirational services that we’d want to experience ourselves!
The service we are recruiting for is located in Tiverton and supports 4 amazing clients. The people we support have individual and different support needs.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a part-time Support Worker to join the team at Fairways.
The role is rewarding as you will have the privilege to support wonderful people to live their lives with choice and dignity, helping them achieve their life goals and promoting independence along the way.
No two days are the same!
This role includes support with day-to-day tasks in the home and in the community - it may involve supporting our residents going out in the morning and taking them to an activity in the afternoon, assisting them to get ready in the morning, helping with shopping, cooking, or cleaning.
This is a great opportunity to build strong and positive relationships with brilliant adults, professionals, and their families, helping each of them find further independence and confidence throughout adulthood. You will engage in fun, long walks, outdoor educational trips, and interactive, practical hands-on activities, which may include personal care.
The job entails supporting adults in developing key skills and ensuring they thrive in life.
You will be required to work weekends and evenings, so flexibility is essential.
The existing team members are passionate, dedicated, and motivated, committed to offering a safe and supportive environment for colleagues and, more importantly, for each of our service users.
If you are passionate about providing tailored support for individuals who require the highest standard of care, apply now!
