Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an Independent Living Assessor for a Local Authority Client based in West London. In this role, you will support social work and occupational therapy teams by conducting assessments, organising care services, and advising clients and carers on equipment and adaptations to promote independence and well-being. About the role: You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives: Conduct assessments, reviews, and manage the provision of equipment and adaptations to support individuals in achieving maximum independence. Advise clients, carers, and family members on suitable techniques and equipment, and collaborate with relevant agencies to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Adhere to legislation, policies, and standards, ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and data recording requirements are met. Participate in team development, engage in ongoing professional development, and contribute to service improvements as directed by the manager. About you: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Experience working with adult social care user groups, conducting assessments, and organising services, including equipment and adaptations. Proficient in using electronic recording systems and maintaining accurate, detailed records. Knowledge of relevant legislation, including the NHS & Community Care Act, Health & Safety regulations, and disability equipment provision. Experience in liaising with statutory, voluntary organisations, and professionals to coordinate and deliver personalised care.
