We are offering a £500 starting bonus to successful applicants who are qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Children's Workforce.
Shifts are 24.5 hours from 10am to 10.30am the following day and include an onsite sleep-in from 11pm to 7am.
Benjamin UK is looking for Therapeutic Care Practitioners (Children/young people 12-18yrs EBD) to work as part of a team. The salary is £31,010 to £31,545 per annum, with increments on gaining the relevant qualification (NVQ). A degree in psychology or criminology or working with children with EBD are preferred.

The Therapeutic Residential Children's Support Workers will be responsible for:
1. Supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and those experiencing mental health problems.
2. Helping promote a stimulating, caring, and culturally appropriate environment for the young people.
3. Providing practical and emotional support to young people under the guidance of the Management team.
4. Working closely with young people, their families, and professionals according to implemented programmes and plans.
5. Assisting individuals to live a full and meaningful life that develops their potential and promotes their rights.
We provide full training for applicants who have no previous experience and are interested in care as a career, whether it is after college or before retirement.
The successful Therapeutic Residential Children's Support Workers will meet the following criteria:
1. Hold a full UK driving licence for a manual vehicle.
2. Have a Diploma/NVQ3 in Caring for Children and Young People or a commitment to work towards this qualification.
3. Possess excellent communication, organisational skills, and resilience.
4. Have the ability to develop and promote positive working relationships with individual service users, their families, and professional colleagues.
5. Have a desire to succeed.
6. Have a degree in psychology, criminology, mental health, nursing, or similar ideally, but not essential.
This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS and references. Social Media checks will also be carried out for successful candidates.
The hours of work are based on 24.5 hour shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. Five of these shifts are completed every 2 weeks.
