Your impact
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accounting Manager to join our team in Glasgow. Reporting to the UK Corporate Controller, the role will include responsibility for the filing of UK Statutory Financial Statements for a number of UK group companies.
About the Opportunity
Your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Ensuring all external statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled
* Ensure all financial statements are accurate and comply with the relevant accounting standards
* Management and control of full statutory reporting process including completeness of transactions
* Reporting into the Regional Corporate Controller be able to extract and compile financial information from various sources to prepare comprehensive year-end UK based financial statements
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business to gather necessary information.
* Management of direct report
* Planning, organising and managing the year end audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all requests
* Preparation of annual statutory journals

Here's what you'll need
* Post qualified ICAS/ACCA 3-5 years but would consider part-qualified applicants with extensive experience on the below
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of US GAAP, UK GAAP and IFRS, including IAS19 and IFRS16
* Knowledge of Oracle accounting software preferable
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Accuracy and attention to detail in work produced
