Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist Location: Shepherd's Bush, West London Salary: Competitive - Dependent on experience Contract: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: January 2025 or as soon as possible MLK Search is supporting this Outstanding Specialist School for children with Autism in appointing a Speech and Language Therapist to work across their schools in west London. The successful candidate will be a key member of therapeutic team and will have the opportunity to continually develop from in house and external training opportunities. You will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Speech and Language Therapy within the school, undertaking the agreed delegated management responsibilities such as supervisions, appraisals, and audits. You will also work collaboratively with other members of the team to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for autistic pupils with associated needs. With a holistic, therapeutic approach to help pupils in their day to day lives, it is essential to ensure they are safe, comfortable, and healthy. Undertaking all aspects of clinical Speech and Language duties, you will adhere to professional and regulatory guidelines, carrying out specialist individual assessments and interventions, and preparing relevant documentation, including writing reports. You will also contribute significantly to providing information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies.
