SALARY: The salary banding for this Bristol and Halifax is £124,653 - £146,650 and for London is £144,424 - £169,910
HOURS: 35 hours, full time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.
About this opportunity
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, SaaS product management, and a deep understanding of content management and creation tools such as Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Workfront and Figma. Integrating and contributing to other core products within the bank such as Cyber & Edge and our Web App framework the sum of those parts drives transformation and value across hundreds of feature teams.
What will I be doing?
1. SaaS Product Management: Lead the Technology integration, customization, and optimization of SaaS products; alongside our own software customisation to enhance our content management product.
2. Technical Leadership: Lead the engineering team in the design, development, and implementation of content management Product and how it integrates seamlessly with other powerful framework products to truly enable our Engineers across the Group.
3. In-House Engineering: Manage in-house software customisations. Support teams in designing, developing, testing and deploying and maintaining high-quality and highly available applications that can leverage AI. We “run” what we “build” within our teams.
4. Innovation: Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve content and marketing efficiency and effectiveness. Foster a culture of innovation to ensure we deliver high quality services, maximise value of our investments and use technology to solve problems in new ways. Drive Search Engineering Optimisation (SEO) and Site Performance Excellence.
5. Customer Communication & Collaboration: Communicate technical concepts and roadmap status to non-technical customers, ensuring transparency and alignment. Work closely with marketing, design, content, product, and other IT teams to align technical solutions with business goals. Collaborate with multi-functional partners to improve visibility, search rankings, and overall site optimization aligned with business goals.
6. Application Management: Manage technology budgets, resources and allocating them efficiently across products and services. Take ownership and accountability for delivery, operations risk management and total cost of services.

What you’ll need
1. Strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower the software engineering team.
2. Proven experience in SaaS marketing and content products such as Adobe AEM, Workfront, and Figma.
3. Hands-on proven experience of systems design, software development, testing, monitoring, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and operational stability.
4. Practical experience within an Agile change delivery construct, ideally having used JIRA/JIRA Align previously being comfortable leading the team within a SCRUM model; always seeking to improve our skills and our product.
