Material Controller - Dorking
Hours: Full time, 8.30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: up to £35,000

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Material Controller for our clients Commercial site in the Dorking area. This is a superb opportunity for a Material Controller to work for a busy and well-established leading market company.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control material stock levels, ensuring adequate supply to meet production needs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Work closely with the production team to forecast material requirements based on production schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and stock levels using inventory management systems.
- Organize and conduct regular stock audits to ensure the accuracy of inventory.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to identify material requirements for upcoming projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in material handling.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to optimize material flow.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Material Controller or in a similar role within the engineering, manufacturing, or automotive sector.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and ERP software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive problem-solver with a keen attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in supply chain management, logistics, or engineering (preferred).
