You are the beginning of an exceptional guest experience. As a Reservations Specialist, you will make our guests feel welcome and reflect the exceptional experience they come when they arrive!
Summary of Responsibilities:
* Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service.
* Ensure the best selection for the guest and ensure revenue is maximized through up-selling.
* Update reservations ensuring a flawless check-in and check-out process.
* Answer telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner.
* Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
* Take ownership of the guest’s request and ensure follow-up according to the hotel’s standards.
* Follow department policies, procedures and service standards.
* Recommend property facilities and assist guests with information and special requests.
* Book room reservation requests, enter rooming lists, and update accurate information in the system.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required.
* Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
* Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
* Guest-focused personality is essential; experience is an asset.
* Preferably prior experience working with Opera or a related system.
* Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
* Fluency in both Arabic & English.
