What will you be doing?
As an Assistant Planner for BES Infrastructure, you will work as part of the Rail team to assist with the successful delivery of allocated contracts, ensuring that all works are planned to be undertaken safely and in accordance with XEIAD Policies and Procedures.
You will:
* Create Safe Work Packs in line with Network Rail Standard NR/L2/OHS/019
* Book Line Blockages through the GZAM and Planning4Delivery external platforms
* Maintain log of Safe Work Packs issued and returned and keep electronic copies of all returned packs
* Liaise with the Responsible Manager and operational teams on all planning matters
* Attend weekly internal planning meetings to support the Planner with the weekly route review
* Manage the Safe Work Pack flow process, liaising with contingent labour and other essential delivery suppliers
* Identify risks and mitigate against through discussions with PICs and Responsible Managers

* Competent to prepare SWP documentation
* Relevant experience of working in a railway operating environment
