Senior Finance Manager – Group Planning
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend 60% of our time per week in the office.

Join the dynamic team at easyJet as a Senior Finance Manager in Group Planning and Finance Systems, where you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial future of one of Europe's leading airlines. This high-profile position reports directly to the Head of FP&A and is crucial for managing our comprehensive group planning activities and leading the Planning Analytics team.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the Group Budget
2. Regular profit forecasts
3. Monthly Airline Management Board (AMB) forecast reporting
4. Ad-hoc PLC reporting
You will collaborate closely with the Senior Finance Manager – Group Reporting to assist with long-term forecasts, the 5 Year Plan, and regular cash flow forecasts. This role is designed for a visionary leader who will drive our FP&A transformation project, ensuring that our planning processes utilise cutting-edge technology and are considered best-in-class. You will also develop and lead our Finance Systems strategy, enhancing forecasting models, data visualisation, and automation, all while maintaining robust cross-functional relationships across the organisation.
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will provide strategic financial leadership and support to easyJet Directors and their teams, ensuring insightful and accurate financial reporting that influences decision-making at the highest levels. Your role will encompass everything from budget setting and outlook adjustments to leading financial governance frameworks that enhance business performance. You will be a motivated, high-achieving professional with experience in logistics, travel, transport, or similar sectors, ready to take on a role with significant exposure to the CFO and other senior executives. You will lead a competent team, building an environment of professional growth and excellence in financial analysis and planning. What you need to do the role
You will have a strong professional qualification in finance (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or economics and at least 5 years of experience managing a business partner environment within a comparable EMEA or global organisation. You will have a deep understanding of business strategy development, process management, and operations, with a strong background in budgeting. Your proven experience in talent management and driving high performance will be crucial, as well as your exceptional project management skills and leadership capabilities. Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience with Finance Systems and Planning Analytics is highly desirable. The role demands significant post-qualification experience in providing finance support to large, complex entities, a solid grasp of balance sheet and cash flow implications, and the ability to deliver with gravitas. You should have a track record of influencing, building strong relationships, and effectively communicating and challenging key stakeholders at senior levels.
