Overview of role The Finance Product Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our financial systems and products that drive business growth and operational efficiency. They will be responsible for defining the roadmap of finance systems developments and obtaining buy in from the finance systems manager and key stakeholders. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify, conceptualise, develop & test as appropriate, and launch new financial systems and products, as well as improving adoption of existing products. Key Responsibilities: Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Define, develop and implement product strategies and roadmaps to align with the company's financial goals. Place key focus on AI to understand the market and how and where best to incorporate into our technology landscape by matching potential use cases to our processes. Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept to procurement and working with the delivery team on implementation. Provide review of the design and testing to ensure that the solution meets the requirements originally set out. Collaborate with IT, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of financial systems. Monitor and analyse financial product performance, making recommendations for improvements or enhancements and present strategic opportunities to senior management. Fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the finance systems team. Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure products remain relevant and compliant. Understand how best to use Group Tools such as Yammer, Sharepoint and Power BI and champion their usage within Group Finance. Key projects (including timescale/key clients/awards if possible) for example: 'come work for our award-winning team' or 'come work with the team who worked on' Team structure (including if they will have any direct reports) Systems used/technologies Sustainability Main responsibilities/deliverables, what will be expected of them (for example budgets, bids) Essential Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science. Proven experience in product management within a financial or technology environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards. Experience in Agile project management and familiarity with tools like Jira. Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
