Sense now has fantastic opportunities for Support Workers in Ottery St Mary, Devon. Working 37.5 hours per week.
Sense Otterhayes is a cluster of supported living services (7 properties) and one residential care home (for 5 people). The services have access to a poly tunnel for people to grow their own fruit and vegetables. There is an art room and a small studio. This is really fantastic time to join Sense Otterhayes – as we move forward with an ambitious plan to bring about major changes.
Due to the location of our service it is essential that you hold a full UK drivers license, and have access to a vehicle, we have free staff parking on site.
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
1. Positive, with a can-do attitude.
2. Caring and empathetic.
3. Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
4. Willing to work towards a Level 2 Diploma in health and social care or equivalent (or already have one).
This role in Ottery St Mary might include supporting people with:
5. Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
6. Personal care and hygiene.

8. Medication and wellbeing.
9. Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
10. Their social life and nightlife.
