With experience in small and large-scale projects, they have been involved in constructing a wide range of complex projects including water treatment plants, retaining walls, bridge construction, concrete structures, building slabs, commercial buildings, sheds, and specialist foundations, all while focusing on delivering high-quality results.
We are looking on behalf of our client for a driven Site Foreman to join their young, energetic team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a spring in their step, and knowledge in formwork, concrete, and carpentry.
As a Foreman, you will lead a skilled team, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards while tackling daily challenges with proactive solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise daily activities on-site, including staffing, subcontractors, and ordering of materials.
* Run projects from start to finish effectively to maintain project timelines.
* Ensure that H&S and Quality standards are followed at all times.
* Oversee the execution of a variety of concrete works & structures, foundations, bridges, retaining walls, and general carpentry.
* Coordinate with project managers to ensure smooth operations within the project.
* Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members to assist with their development and productivity.
Key Requirements:
* Experience in concrete construction and general carpentry.
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
* Ability to motivate, drive, and manage a team and subcontractors on-site.
* Experience working on large, complex sites and handling multiple tasks.
* Ambition to move up within the company and take on increasing responsibilities.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
