What will your day look like?
Supporting Laboratory Owners and Research and Development (R&D) Design Teams with laboratory maintenance, product development, improvements, calibration, and repair.
You can make an impact by:
* Working to company and ISO 9001 standards
* Building and testing Printed Circuit Board assemblies (PCBA’s) under an Engineer's guidance
* Assembling and testing products under an Engineer's guidance
* Carrying out electrical/electronic and environmental tests, recording and documenting results
* Preparing and carrying out tests on design changes making recommendations as appropriate
* Organising and attending testing at external test houses under an Engineer's guidance
* Designing, documenting, and building small test equipment as required
* Working with project teams to identify, conduct, and report necessary tests to verify the performance of products and/or components
* Working with R&D & Laboratory owners to schedule effective maintenance
* Supporting root cause investigations of equipment and products
* Coordinating calibration and maintenance activities and keeping appropriate records

Skills and Experience
* HNC (preferably HND) level in electronics or equivalent experience
* Experienced in the use of standard electronic test equipment (Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Pulse/Signal/Delay generators, Logic Analyzer, Power Supply, etc.)
* Competent with assembly and soldering tasks, including very small surface mount components
* Diagnosing and repairing electronic devices
* PCB CAD tools (e.g., Altium and CadStar)
* Able to interpret engineering circuit diagrams
* Able to build and test products according to specifications
* Able to work to high standards of quality and precision
* Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level
