* Conduct mathematical modelling and simulationdevelopment devising and evolving algorithmic and design solutionsto meet system capability and performance requirements of complexradar systems
Utilise mathematicalmodelling and simulation to identify and develop performanceenhancements and novel solutions to improve existing radar productcapability and evolve future associatedtechnologies Develop novel solutionsto evolving technical challenges and emerging issues that ourcustomer community arefacing Supportmulti-disciplined engineering teams in the realisation,implementation, verification and validation of algorithmic anddesign solutions for deployable radarsystems Conduct systemperformance analysis and design trade-offs of principle systemparameters in order to characterise and define system designconstraints and limitations in various operationalscenarios Undertake systemperformance analysis of integration and post trials data to informradar systems design solutions, and to generate customer acceptanceevidence Apply a breadth ofknowledge, skills and experience of Systems Engineering (e.g. ISO15288) to design and develop solutions and resolve engineeringissues and problems for a range of products and engineeringsituations that can realise Future AirDominance
Your skills and experiences:
* Astrong mathematical and engineering mind-set with an innovativeapproach to problem solving that can be applied to resolvingcomplex technical and system levelrequirements
Experience ofmathematical simulation tools/languages (e.g. Mathworks MATLAB,Simulink, Pearl, Python,MathCAD) An understanding offactors that can affect the real world performance of radar systemsand how these can impact modelled or simulated performanceprediction Further education (orequivalent experience) in a relevant STEMdiscipline
