Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and developing the early learning experiences of children in a nursery setting. Your primary focus will be to create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can thrive and develop essential skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Responsibilities
1. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children's cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
2. Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and exploration among children.
3. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's learning journey.
4. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring safety and adherence to nursery policies and procedures.
5. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their development.
6. Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of care and education within the nursery setting.
7. Maintain accurate records of children's achievements and developmental milestones.
Experience
1. Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
2. A strong understanding of child development principles and practices is required.
3. Proven ability to lead a team and manage classroom dynamics effectively.
4. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
5. Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
6. A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: £11.44-£11.75 per hour
