Our Team
You will be working closely with the Legal Secretaries in our Real Estate practice group providing secretarial and administration support to the Partners and Associates. You'll be reporting into the Manchester office Secretarial Services Manager. Occasionally you may be expected to provide support to other teams as and when required.
Our Opportunity
In this dynamic and busy role, no two days will be the same! This role would be ideal for someone who is currently carrying out administration and secretarial duties within an office environment.
You'll conduct client inceptions, billing and will have telephone and email contact with clients. There will be some element of documentation work along with general tasks such as expenses, arranging travel, filing and archiving and getting involved in the daily tasks of a busy law firm.

This is a varied role and you'll therefore need to be an organised and pro-active individual who can easily prioritise. You'll need to be a self-starter and able to manage your time and workload effectively as well demonstrate your flexibility and experience of working in a team to assist other departments when required. You'll also be able to use your initiative and identify where help is needed with limited supervision.
As you will be dealing with individuals at all levels, including clients of the firm, you must be confident in communicating warmly and professionally and have superb interpersonal skills. You'll have good knowledge of all Microsoft packages along with strong keyboard skills, and be meticulous about attention to detail.
You will have 2 years' experience of working in a professional service firm. Knowledge of Land Registry forms, uploading applications, as well as experience of Search Acumen would be preferable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Monday-Friday, - flexibility required. Hybrid working available.
