Job Coach (LDD) Further Education
Location: Ofsted-rated college in Warwickshire (Leamington Spa & Gallows Hill)
Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at the worksite; Wednesday at the college campus (08:30-16:00)
Pay Rate: £14 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
We are looking for a Job Coach to support students in developing employability skills and confidence in the workplace. You will:
1. Teach and assess employability qualifications
2. Support students in overcoming barriers and setting career goals
3. Facilitate tailored work placements with internal stakeholders
4. Guide students in job tasks, motivation, and workplace skills
5. Provide pastoral care and promote independence in students
6. Monitor progress and maintain accurate records
About You
1. Understanding of supported internships and employment pathways
2. Experience in a commercial or educational setting
3. Proficiency in IT (MS Office, email, internet)
4. Job Coach qualification or willingness to train (TSI)
5. GCSEs (C or above) in English & Maths or equivalent
